[peopletools-l] PeopleSoft (8.48) UserID is different from LDAP user ID

Question from Psft_Vara on Mar 22 at 1:25 AM Looked everywhere followed some documentation and searched all the Toolbox posts, but couldn't find quiet what I am looking for. Here is the question... After a decade our company decided to implement LDAP. All this time they used some naming standards to create the PeopleSoft UserID which is different from the employee iD. Our Novell LDAP uses employee ID as a userID which is also our network ID and many other softwares using this directory. It is very well maintained by a team and it gets automatically updated whenever there is a change in the employment. Could someone please tell me what are my options on how can I make it work with PeopleSoft since both userids are different.
