Subject: Test Script Authoring

Hi,

Testing is nothing but test case or test scripts from logging in to SAP system till the Last process /action based on your module / area;

For example, if you are preparing TS for TIME MGMT, you need to cover all the process / actions starting from Entering Attendance / Absences and running all the possible processes i.e. Time Evaluation

Further, think of interface/ integration, if attendance are captured by third party / machine and will be transfer to Time Mgmt.

Also add some negative scenario in test scripts, i.e Absence / Attendance on Restricted holidays (26th january, 15th August). Overtime entry on NON-Working day or on a Holiday, Sick Leave and Priviledge Leave entry on same day, Maternity leave application by MALE employee etc.)

Same way you can prepare TS for PAY ROLL, you have to think about business process for that perticular module and keeping that in mind write all the scenario which needs to be tested.

Hope this help.

Kumar Dave
