Reply from webbased on Jul 27 at 10:47 AM .NET is not critical, but the viability of the platform stack that the ERP solution is built on is important - especially if you will be making customizations. If you are comparing an software option that is built exculsively for a FoxPro database then you need to think. If you are comparing a software option that uses a Silverlight user interface, then you need to make sure you can find Silverlight resources - now and in the future.

We are comparing several ERP solutions for a small manufacturer. I will not name them. One claims to be 100% dotNET and says because the 'other' solution is not it is risky to select them because they future is limited. The client has no programmers or developers. The other solution looks good and has lots of references. Should we be concerned if a solution is not dotNET? | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
