Reply from Robin Haettich on Dec 30 at 11:50 AM Hello Mahesh, Yes, I think you describe expected behavior. On SAP Solution Manager system, you create a message and it will identify your user ID (and associated BP) as creating entity. On a managed system (satellite system), an RFC is used to call SAP Solution Manager, i.e. create the message there. As described in the IMG Activity "Specify Service Desk Destination in Managed Systems" (or equivalent), you have maintained an RFC destination used for this purpose. The user for this destination will have to have the authorizations, roles, and master data discussed earlier. Then it will serve as creator of the message. With best regards, Robin

Of course this thread became long. At most I have solved everything except RFC user name I'm getting in created user column. If it's from SOLMAN I'm getting same user id but if it's from dev, I'm getting RFC user name. Except this there are no issues. Without your help i would not have solved this. Still need some help. Thanks Mahesh | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
