Reply from erkangulec on Apr 16 at 12:56 AM Hi Mr. Fakir, You seem to have solid foundation (education and work experiences) on which to build SAP skills. Here are my suggestions ... - Start with "SAP01 - SAP Overview". This will help you to acquire basic overview of SAP solutions. - Register and install "SAP Solution Composer" in to your computer (if you haven't already done so). This is a useful application that shows you how SAP's industry and cross industry solutions, and NetWeaver technology components fit together to enable industry / business processes. - You then need to think about which end-to-end business process to focus on, such as, order to cash, purchase to pay, resource to product, maintain physical assets, record to report, budget to actual, hire to retire. For example, in your case you may choose to focus on "resource to product" process. Using SAP Overview and Solution Composer, you can determine which SAP solutions / products / modules / sub-modules enable this process. Start from the most logical point and then build on it taking the integrating nature of SAP into consideration. - Having SAP certification is a good and credible investment. Encourage you to consider it. Leading IT Service Providers recruit and train their employees (as good as SAP certification if not better) and assign them on to the projects. The beginning is usually tough. Never give up. We all started from somewhere without any SAP skills. Hope this helps. All the best. Warm regards, Erkan Gulec ERP Team Leader
