From this discussion, I really dont understand why your page should not be populating. for the sake of confirmation you can put in custom message in your fieldchange peoplecode to see if that is being triggered. You can also check if all levels of deferred processing is allowed in this page. Sometimes allowing only a particular field may not work.
On another note, can we have pages with ONLY work record fields? For a database trip wont we need a table or a view to work with? Since I haven't created such a page, I was wondering if that is actually possible.

I am new to peoplesoft. I request you to help me with my query.
I have 10 fields on a page associated with a work record. When one of the fields( which is a dropdownfield) is changed, value in other fields must get populated. The values for the fields is stored in a table, at runtime the changed value in the dropdown field is compared with the value in the table and the corresponding values are copied to the work record from the table. My problem is even though the fields are copied, the values are not getting displayed in the page. |
