Reply from Venkat Ch on May 12 at 11:16 AM Cleaning up is a high level term, may be from security point of view, need to revisit roles, permission list assigned to the users check if any wrong. First list out all the roles/permissions based on the user and their roles. Then the respective module leads need to take a look and confirm the correctness. e.g. some of the users left or moved departments, or had additional roles/responsibilities if they don't reflect can't access the right pages/menus in their respective modules/cross functional. Also need to determine that the roles should cross the boundaries, I mean should have only access provided and should not see other stuff. This requires thorough testing and validations and cleanup where required. This is what I have seen in my ERP implementations/upgrades...hope this helps...

Where I'm at they want me to do the "cleaning up" I know I'm new and I hope it's not with a mop and bucket. They haven't said much just that's its cleaning up the business processes, what does that actual mean? I would really appreciate some clarification on this. Thanks Guys Chriss | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
