The solution to your requirement could be as follows -
In MMR, in MM02, in Tab Sales:sales org 1
1. Give (Keep) field Base Unit of Measure = KG
2. Give field Sales Unit = BAG
3. In popup give 1 BAG = 5 KG
4. Save
5. In MMR, in MM02, give field Sales Unit = CAR
6. In popup give 1 CAR = 50 KG
7. Save

Hi Friends,
Can anyone help me with the concept/ usage of Alternative UoM. I know that alternative unit of measure is maintained in material master in additional data. but i am unable to comprehend its usage.
Our requirement is for a material A having base UoM as kg is sold in a carton. Now material A is packed in bags of 5kg and then 10 of these bags are packed in a carton with total weight of 50kg.
What we want to understand is that in a sale order if we book 100kg of material A, system should automatically convert the qty and unit to 2 cartons
