Hello
When you run MAT the system will utilise all the memory, so make sure you have sufficient memory. It basically extracts the heapdump first.

Hi all,

I have a production system on ERP 6 EHP4 and a Portal NW 7.0 EHP1. Lately i observed that the ICM got stopped (tcode SMICM). During this period, ST22 continuously gives several dumps like below :
03.08.2012 11:06:26 sapprd01_P01_01 <username> 800 C UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION CX_WD_GENERAL. In the details, I get the following:
WebDynpro Exception: ADS call failed SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime
Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP send failed with exception
communication_failure(100,101).
So during this period, ADS has failed.

When i check the ICM log during this period i observe the following:

[Thr 5] *** ERROR => e=28 semget(3010820,20,2016) (28: No space left on device) [evtux_mt.c 303]
[Thr 5] *** ERROR => EvtOpen(16419) failed: 1 [mpixx_mt.c 4597]
[Thr 5] MpiIEvtOpen: retry with next key
[Thr 5] *** ERROR => e=28 semget(3010820,20,2016) (28: No space left on device) [evtux_mt.c 303]
[Thr 5] *** ERROR => EvtOpen(16418) failed: 1 [mpixx_mt.c 4597]

To remedy this problem quickly, I restart the ICM.

What may be causing this....what can i do to find the root cause of the problem and correct it?
